Electricity4Gas
What is so good about this product?
You don’t have to pay for gas at all once your car is converted to the plug-in electric car designed by this ebook. It cost me only $6 extra for the monthly electricity bill to charge my car.
I was very dubious when I saw the ad saying, “For only a few hundred dollars you will have an electric car”. When you go to ebay and look for used cars converted to electric vehicles, they usually charge you several thousand dollars. I’m also a member of forums and blogs about hybrid and electric vehicles. There are many mechanics and engineers posting their comments about the high cost of converting to an electric car. I thought Electricity4Gas manual was too good to be true. Anyway, I gave a shot at it.
What amazed me was you could really assemble it within $600 with this manual (I bought batteries for myself. The manual will tell you how to get batteries for free, and then your material expense will be around $350.)
Table of Contents (61-Page PDF):
1. The parts and tools you need before you start
2. Tips on how to obtain free batteries and other free parts for the electric cars
3. Setup and step-by-step instructions (ex. how to put new parts and the original transmission together) with clear detailed diagrams
Technical Issue?
The author wrote the manual as easy as possible, but honestly it was still technical for me. I strongly suggest you to work with an auto mechanic. The most laborious part of the conversion process was the beginning, which was removing the combustion engine. My mechanic knew exactly where and how to remove the parts. He also helped me to assemble batteries and other parts of the conversion kit on my car.
How An Electric Vehicle Works:
1. You plug an electric cord into your converted car from an electric outlet in your garage.
2. You charge about three hours. With four-hour charge, my car runs 26 miles.
Speed Issue:
You don’t have to worry about the speed. Many people would think an electric car is slow, but actually, the top speeds can go up to 70mph.
